Subject: SHIVERCITY GAZETTE

L O C A L I N F O R M A T I O N:
According to word received yesterday regarding Shivercitys In-continent Cable
Tv Company. I'm lead to believe, If, you were not receiving the smut channel
(Showtime) # 3 when the latest "conversion" took place. You will not be able to
receive Shivercity's local channel. Presently being aired on channel 3.
I suppose, (In-Continent) being as small a company as it is. Hasn't been able
to prepare for the conversion. The way a larger, more professional,
organizasion would. We should all be thankful that The In-Continant folks
worked over time getting us the Grand Cities local channel.
Although, I haven't talked to everyone in Shivercity. The two people I did
talk to, think the cable channel conversion project in a word, "sucks". I hate
that word,.... but vaccum just doesn't go directly to the point. I did receive
a note from the chamber office. The word from there is much more political.
And, probably more direct.

Just to let you know, due to the change in cable channel line ups recently,
Channel 98 has been changed to Channel 3. Some people may have to reprogram
channel 3 back into their televisions, as it was Showtime previously. That
channel was a pay per view, so it more than likely wouldn't come through if you
didn't subscribe. Midcontinent says they are working on letting people know and
reprograming 3 back for everyone, it may take awhile though. If you could pass
the word along for the Chamber, that would be great. BTW, congratulations on
your new grandbabies! What a blessing. Thank you & happy holidays,
