Some folks have already started putting up a few holiday decorations in
Leistikow Park. If the red ribbons, throughout the park, are any
indication it looks like we can expect to enjoy a pleasant drive thru
Grafton's Leistikow Park again this year.

A roomer,.. is the person who spreads rumors about the roomer across
the hall doing "unmentionable" things with the roomer down the hall on
the way up the stairs to the laundry room.
Or, so it seems to me.

Who said you can't take it with you. Frank Sinatra did. He was buried
with a bottle of Jack Daniels. His daughter Nancy sent it along with
him.

Our Saviour's Lutheran Church will present "Christ has come" Sunday
December 26. Among others, those participating in the program are.
Yvonne Grovum, Carol Colson, Janice Larson, Delores Mecham, Inga
Johnson, Joyce Larson, Joan Barsness, Ruth Thompson, Donna Hanson, Avis
Brateng, Elaine Erickson, and Julianne Gillishammer as the angel chorus.
Also participating will be Vernon Erickson, Gilbert Ness, Noel Larson,
Truman Thompson, Rodney Nelson, Chas. Thompson, Darrel Brateng, Dan
Zeller, James Hanson and Curtis Holten. Richard Thompson is the candle
lighter: Rose Ann Bliss, Edna Olson & Freddie Carrico as small angels;
Mark Carrico as Joseph and DeEtta Karvonen as Mary.
Additional singing parts among others are Sharon Lee Wilson, Larry
McMillan, Joy Bliss, Delores Mohagen, Zoola Holten, Kenneth Speten,
Lowell Anderson, Delores Sellheim, Sharon Lee, Dale Hanson,Beverly
Colson, Leroy Nelson, Carol Knauf, Roger Zeller, Lyle Solberg and Sharon
Holten.
It sounds like it should be a very entertaining evening. I've never
heard Larry McMillan sing before. That, in itself, should be a hoot.
Oops,... did I mention that presentation was already held,...... in
1948?

Tuesday, the 14th of November is the third birthday of Jade and Ty
Moe. Denise and Brads energetic twins. Everyone that could, attended a
birthday party in their honor this past Sunday. I must admit, I thank
the Lord each time I attend such a wonderful family function. To be able
to watch my loved ones grow, is truely a gift from God.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jade & Tyler from your Grandma and Grandpa we love you
both very much.

I thought I should send out this "reminder" once more. After all, it

To let people know of a fun night we have planned at B & D Flooring
and Carpet Cleaning. Next Thursday, 16th at 6:30pm at the store on the
corner of 5th and Griggs. We are offering a "FREE" faux painting class.
Our focus that night will be on "Kid's Rooms". We will be showing
chalkboard paint, glow in the dark paint, glitter paint, as well as
painting techniques. The last class focused on 3 general faux painting
techniques. The turn out was great! We had a lot of fun and the ladies
got to try it out before doing it at home. (Men are also welcome, it
just happened to be all ladies then). So, if your interested, stop in
and check it out. If you have any questions, you can call the store

It's been awhile since the first snowbirds "left the nest". I am
pleased to share the first "arrived safe and sound note from Vic and

We are still alive and well and still enjoying the Gazette. Vic
misses the afternoon coffee bunch but not the cold weather. The
weather has been above normal but really nice. This week we have
welcome back week and all the activities are getting started. Say hi
to everyone. Our Monday morning Walsh County breakfasts at Little
Mesa Cafe have also started again. See you in April. Vic & Dorothy
